Faucet pours hot water when off

I live in New England. As soon as the temperature drops the hot water in my bathtub starts to pour. It’s so bad I have to turn off the hot water right at the tank in the basement. No other pipes leak. Once the temperature climbs the leak is fixed. I assume there is a crack somewhere that expands and contracts. I’d like enough knowledge and some sort of plan before I call anyone out or attempt anything myself. The pipes are on an outside wall and the entire thing is heavily tiled. Any ideas?! submitted by /u/chivonster [link] [comments]
