Question about methane gas removal systems.
So, I have a customer who had me over because of air in their water lines whenever they didn’t use water for a while (vacation home) and a rotten egg odor. I went through all the steps to determine if the well line was cracked or if the foot valve was bad first and everything seemed fine. After a phone call to my dad, who said he saw something online about methane gas in well water, I decided to try holding a lighter by the faucet. Well…an air burst came through and it blew up in my face and singed my arm hair. My customer was standing there in shock and so was I.
